Oh my! A newcomer this year to eclectica and perhaps a slightly unusual choice for us as Mousqueton clothes are, well, generally solid colour fabrics – not a swirly Mandala or pattern to be found!

So, who are they & what do they do…French, if you hadn’t guessed, based & well established in Brittany. They started out making sailcloth jackets for all those yachting sailor types – clothing that was super practical & oh so definitely stylish & unmistakably Breton.

They still make wonderful jackets in drill cotton that are perfect on windy, wet days. They now also produce a Summer & Winter collection each year which includes fantastic quality linen shirts, organic cotton skirts and to die for dungarees.

We’ve dipped our toe in (please excuse the pun but I’ve got sailing on the brain) this year and are super happy with how our customers have responded so far. Dungarees have disappeared & it’s understandable as they come in the most amazing colourways, are a really good weight and tailored – unlike a lot of big baggy styles which don’t suit everyone.

We’ve more coming soon so keep a lookout on the website or pop along to the shop if you’re in town and have a try…:))
